We were founded by a group of concerned individuals and local companies to further the cause of workplace protection in the UK.

Although the government and national legislation does much to protect the health and safety of the worker or employee, there are still many companies chosing to ignore their obligations. Perhaps more importantly, legislation is not always enforced, and in many cases has not been thought through clearly.

We aim to try and reduce the number of workplace injuries caused by these shortcomings.

Following a meeting I had at a recent Chamber of Commerce meeting, I think we need to raise awareness of the need for safety boots once again.

As we are all well aware, (and part of the reason for the existence of the IPPA), workplace health and safety is considered by most people as an unavoidable nuisance. It is the most important way to keep yourself, and your employees, safe in almost every workplace.
